Andreas Schumann

Andreas Schumann began his career as an engineer at Hoechst AG. He then switched to IT management, first as an SAP project leader at VEBA Oel AG and then for more than 20 years as CIO at KHS GmbH, SMS Siemag AG and Aurubis AG. His main focus of work included the process harmonisation, system standardisation, the global rollout of SAP-centred IT architectures and the empowerment of the IT organisation as a perceived driver of digitisation.

As an Associate Partner at ACENT, Dr. Schumann focuses on interim management as CIO, the management of IT transformation and harmonisation programs, the planning of ERP architectures as well as consulting and concept development on IT governance and IT compliance issues.
