Günter Weinrauch

Günter Weinrauch has more than 30 years of experience in IT management, including 11 years as CIO at ADAC and Premiere/Sky, 6 years in top management consulting and 14 years in the IT provider environment. His focus was on right-sourcing and global delivery, IT governance as well as the modernization of legacy environments and processes/change management. Günter Weinrauch has primarily worked in the fields of communications, media and transportation, but also has experience in other industries.

At ACENT, Günter Weinrauch focuses on mission-critical transformation and modernization initiatives, IT strategy from conception to operational implementation, as well as interim IT management.

Günter Weinrauch was awarded the title “CIO of the Year” in 2006 and 2008 (2nd place, SMEs) and 2013 (Top 10, large corporations). In 2014 he was awarded the Handelsblatt IT-Strategy Award and was the representative of Germany for the “European CIO of the Year”.
